Over the Pass. Fully Self-Contained.
Bend’s construction boom has always run faster than its subcontractor supply — specialty trades come over the Cascades on their own schedule, at their own price. Our answer is a batch plant that makes the trip irrelevant to quality: the Smart Batch® GC-1 hauls as one 18,000-pound trailer, carries its own 110HP diesel power and 7–13 hours of runtime, and sets up in under 10 minutes. A Bend pour requires nothing local but site access and water, and it produces the same weighed batches and cloud-archived QC reports as a pour in Tacoma. We plan Central Oregon in dedicated pour windows and tell you the mobilization cost up front.
Building in Bend
Bend’s pipeline is unusually hospitality-heavy for its size — hotels, resort lodging, and short-term-rental-adjacent product where nightly-rate guests judge sound separation instantly — layered over apartment and townhome construction chasing one of the tightest workforce-housing markets in Oregon. Hotels bring the same physics as multifamily with less forgiveness: gypsum topping assemblies for fire ratings and guest-to-guest quiet. Central Oregon’s high-desert climate is a genuine asset for gypsum concrete — dry air, fast dry-down — but big day-night temperature swings punish sloppy water content. Weighed batching removes that variable, so the drying curve you plan flooring around is the one you get.
