The Far Corner of the Map. The Same Batch Report.
The Flathead Valley is about as far from a major subcontractor base as multifamily construction gets in the lower 48 — which is exactly why our rig’s self-sufficiency matters most here. The Smart Batch® GC-1 arrives as a single trailer carrying its own diesel power, its own weighing computer, and 7–13 hours of runtime; it needs no local batch plant, no ready-mix supplier, and no support convoy. A pour in Kalispell produces the identical artifact a pour in Seattle does: a per-batch cloud record of weights, measures, and mix duration, emailed as a QC report for your file. Remote does not have to mean undocumented.
Building in the Flathead
The valley’s construction economy is driven by a resort corridor — Whitefish, Glacier’s gateway towns, Flathead Lake — whose tourism wages cannot touch its housing prices, making workforce apartments in Kalispell, Evergreen, and Columbia Falls the region’s most urgent product, alongside hospitality projects and high-spec condo and lodge development in Whitefish. Both ends of that spectrum run through the same floor assembly: gypsum topping over acoustic mat for STC 50 / IIC 50 and UL-rated fire performance, usually over radiant heat in this climate. The Flathead’s short pour season rewards our throughput — up to 40,000 sq ft/day compresses a building’s underlayment phase into days, not weeks — and weighed water content keeps dry-down on schedule when the weather refuses to cooperate.
